    Kaedekoblinger forbinder to aksler ved hjaelp af en kaede og fortandede nav. De egner sig til robust overforsel af drejningsmoment, hvor der onskes nem montering og en vis tolerance over for mindre afvigelser.

    Valget afhaenger af akseldiametrene, det overforte drejningsmoment, omdrejningstallet, koblingens bredde og pladsen til skaermen. Smoring og korrekt spaending af koblingskaeden er ogsa vigtige.
