Tandwielen
Tandwielen brengen beweging over tussen de as en de ketting. Het juiste wiel moet overeenkomen met de kettingsteek, het aantal tanden en de wijze van bevestiging op de as.
Let bij het kiezen op het aantal tanden, de steek, de breedte van de tanden, de diameter van de naaf en het gat. Voor sommige wielen is een spiebaan, stelschroef of gatafstelling nodig.
- vergelijk de kettingsteek en het aantal tanden
- meet boring, naaf en totale diameter
- controleer de pengleuf of een ander bevestigingsmiddel
- laat een marge over voor uitlijning en de juiste kettingspanning
