Bearings form the basis of most rotary bearings, from simple repairs to industrial machines with continuous operation. In this category, you select parts according to construction, size, load and the environment in which they will work.

The most common search starts with the type designation, for example the 6000, 6200 or 6300 series, or the dimension in millimeters. The 2RS, ZZ or open cover, clearance, precision and suitable lubrication are also decisive.

A faulty replacement may result in noise, heating or short life. If the original marking is not legible, a photo, inside and outside diameter measurement, width and description of use will help.

• check the inside diameter, outside diameter and width
• distinguish between open, covered and sealed designs
• verify the speed, load, temperature and humidity of the environment
• for the old part, take photos of both sides and visible markings
