Rollers for bearings
Bearing rollers carry higher radial loads than balls and are used in roller or specialty bearing assemblies. Their geometry affects the load-bearing capacity and evenness of the run.
When choosing, you need to know the diameter, length, shape of the faces and the required accuracy. In damaged bearings, in addition to the rollers, the raceways and the cage are also worn.
- measure the diameter and length of the roller
- check the shape of the fronts and possible rounding
- check the conformity of the dimension in the whole set
- inspect the orbits before the actual exchange
