Axial rings
Axial rings transmit forces acting in the direction of the shaft axis. They are used as sliding bearing surfaces, delimiting elements or bearing components where normal radial support is not sufficient.
When choosing, the inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness, material and quality of the contact surfaces are decisive. Lubrication and the direction of the applied force are also important.
- measure the inside and outside diameter of the ring
- verify the thickness and flatness of the bearing surface
- distinguish between a slip ring and a common washer
- consider axial loads and lubrication conditions

For the axial ring, send the dimensions and a description of which parts it works between. This will help distinguish the sliding element from a regular spacer.
