Bearing needles
Bearing needles are thin cylindrical rolling bodies with a high load capacity at a low installation height. They are used in needle roller bearings, cages and compact bearings.
When choosing, the diameter, length, accuracy and condition of the running surfaces are decisive. Needles must work in a set with the same size, otherwise the load will be distributed unevenly.
- measure the diameter and length of the needle
- use needles of the same precision in one set
- check the play on the shaft or in the ring
- do not use damaged needles with flats or corrosion
