Cylindrical bushings
Cylindrical bushings are basic sliding bushings without flanges. They are used to guide shafts, pins and slower movements in a small assembly space.
Selection depends on inside diameter, outside diameter, length and material. Depending on the application, a bronze, composite or self-lubricating design may be suitable.
- measure the inside diameter for the pin or shaft
- verify the outer diameter for pressing into the body
- check the length and edges of the case
- consider lubrication, load and speed of movement
