Loctite 270 je určen pro trvalé upevňování a utěsňování vysoce zatížených závitových spojů proti samovolnému uvolnění. Produkt vytvrzuje bez přístupu vzduchu ve spáře mezi lepenými kovovými povrchy a zabraňuje uvolnění či prosakování spoje, které je způsobené vibracemi a rázy. Typické použití Loctite 270 zahrnuje upevňování a těsnění velkých šroubů, také je vhodný pro trvale sešroubované spoje, které již nemají být nikdy uvolněny. Má zvýšenou teplotní odolnost a snáší mirné znečištění lepené součásti olejem.
