Loctite 573 těsní lícovaná spojení ve spáře mezi dvěma pevnými kovovými povrchy nebo přírubami - strojně opracované díly, malé spáry. Produkt vytvrzuje bez přístupu vzduchu ve spáře mezi lepenými kovovými povrchy. Po vytvrzení má malou toleranci k mikropohybům. Typické použítí Loctite 573 je jako na místě vytvářené těsnění na tuhých přírubových spojích, například v převodových skříních, skříních motorů atd. Vyznačuje se velmi pomalým vytvrzením. Tixotropní charakter zabraňuje jeho stékání z místa nanesení.
