Axial spherical plain bearings

Axial spherical plain bearings are plain bearings with a spherical contact surface designed to transmit axial (thrust) forces while allowing relative rotation between connected parts.

The spherical geometry of the contact surfaces allows angular misalignment without rigid rolling contact, with force transmission occurring through sliding contact.
