Seger fuses
Seger locks secure parts against axial displacement on the shaft or in the hole. They are used for bearings, pins, wheels, bushings and other machine assemblies.
When choosing, it is essential to distinguish between a fuse in a hole and a fuse on a shaft. The nominal diameter, thickness, eyelet shape and groove width are also decisive.
- determine if the fuse belongs to the hole or to the shaft
- measure the diameter of the groove and its width
- check the thickness and shape of the ends for the pliers
- do not use a deformed fuse after disassembly

For a Seger fuse, send a photo of the mounting location and the diameter of the shaft or hole. You can tell the correct type by the direction in which the fuse expands.
