Linear bushings
Linear bushings allow movement along a circular guide rod. They are used for lighter linear mechanisms, jigs, sliding tables and automation elements.
When choosing, it is necessary to know the diameter of the rod, the outer diameter of the housing, the length, the type of seal and the design of the body. A linear bushing requires a suitably precise and hard guide rod.
- measure the diameter of the guide rod and the length of the sleeve
- verify open, closed or flanged design
- check seals and possibility of lubrication
- monitor the alignment of the rods and the cleanliness of the working environment
