Outer rings
The outer rings form the rotating or bearing part of the bearing in the body. They are used in the repair of bearing assemblies, where it is necessary to replace a damaged track or precisely define the bearing.
The selection depends on the outer diameter, inner diameter, width and edge design. The ring must sit correctly in the body and cooperate with the rolling elements or the follow-up bearing.
- measure the outer diameter for the installation in the housing
- check the width and inner working diameter
- verify continuity with the bearing, needles or cage
- don't overlook seat wear in the body
