    Product detailed description

    FNL 506 A SKF (722506D)

    FNL 506 A SKF is a separate undivided three-bolt flanged bearing housing made of cast iron, with an end cover for a shaft end. It is not a complete bearing unit: the bearing, adapter sleeve and any locating rings are selected and ordered separately. The housing is supplied with standard seals.

    For FNL 506, the SKF catalogue lists a nominal 25 mm shaft diameter. Dimensions are AA = 60.5 mm, AB = 60 mm, A1 = 12 mm, Ba = 16 mm, Bb = 15 mm, D1 = 86 mm, H = 117 mm, H1 = 44 mm, J = 116 mm, L = 130 mm and G = 10 mm; housing mass is approximately 1.6 kg. The housing has three mounting holes and an end cover; version B is for a through shaft.

    The standard TFL 506 seal is a double-lip seal. Before ordering, check whether you need the FNL 506 A housing with cover alone or a complete assembly with a suitable bearing and adapter sleeve. Compare the 25 mm shaft, J = 116 mm spacing and 130 × 117 mm dimensions with the original part.
