Bearing seals
Bearing seals protect the inside of the bearing from dust, moisture and grease leakage. They are used in the repair of bearing units or special bearings, where normal covering is not enough.
When choosing, it depends on the diameter, profile, material and method of attachment in the bearing or housing. The seal must sit in the groove and must not unnecessarily inhibit rotation.
- measure the inner and outer diameter of the gasket
- compare the profile and thickness with the original part
- verify contact with shaft or ring
- consider dust, moisture, grease and temperature

For a bearing seal, the profile is the most important. Send a photo of the cut or the original gasket from the side to avoid confusion of similar diameters.
