Inner rings
The inner rings serve as a hardened raceway for needle bearings or similar bearings. They are used where the shaft does not have a suitable surface for the direct running of the rolling elements.
When choosing, the inner diameter, outer diameter, width and quality of the bearing surface are decisive. The ring must match both the needle bearing and the shaft, otherwise clearance and bearing life will change.
- measure the inside diameter for the shaft
- verify outer diameter as orbit
- check the width and any chamfering of the edges
- use a ring where the shaft is not suitably hardened

For the inner ring, send the dimensions and designation of the related bearing. It is important to know if it replaces the orbit for needles.
