Bearing - 2207 ZKL

2207 ZKL is a double-row self-aligning ball bearing with a cylindrical bore and dimensions 35 × 72 × 23 mm (d×D×B). Two rows of balls run in a common spherical raceway in the outer ring, allowing the inner ring and ball set to align relative to the outer ring. This helps compensate for moderate shaft deflection and alignment errors between the shaft and housing.

Applications

Suitable for fans, conveyors, agricultural and textile machinery, transmissions and longer shaft arrangements where minor misalignment can occur. It is not intended for high axial loads; the bearing arrangement must be selected the actual load, speed and required service life.

Selection and installation

Before ordering, compare the complete designation and dimensions. The open cylindrical-bore 2207 must not be confused with a tapered-bore 2207 K or sealed versions carrying an additional suffix. Mount in clean conditions, apply mounting force only through the ring being fitted and do not use the self-aligning capability to compensate for inaccurate or damaged seating surfaces.
