30309 A ZVL single-row tapered roller bearing
The 30309 A bearing from ZVL has tapered raceways and is designed for combined loading. It carries radial loads together with axial loads in one direction; a second bearing in an opposed arrangement is normally used when axial loads must be supported in both directions.

Design and mounting
- single-row tapered roller bearing in an open design,
- separable arrangement: the inner-ring cone assembly with rollers and cage can be mounted separately from the outer ring,
- suitable for gearboxes, hubs, shafts and other positions exposed to combined loads,
- set axial clearance or preload during mounting according to the requirements of the specific machine.
During mounting, apply force only through the ring with the interference fit, protect the raceways from contamination and select the lubricant for the operating conditions. Check the complete designation 30309 A; versions without the same suffix may differ internally and are not automatically interchangeable.
