Application and mounting
- Carries radial load and limited axial load in both directions.
- The two seals protect the bearing and help retain lubricant, but create more friction than an open or shielded design.
- Clean all seating surfaces before fitting; transmit force only through the ring being fitted with interference, never through the balls.
- After mounting, verify alignment, free rotation and operating temperature.
Important: Do not confuse 6203 2RS with open 6203, Z/2Z shielded versions or single-sealed RS. For C3 variants, also verify the required internal clearance.
