6001 ZKL deep groove ball bearing

A versatile single-row deep groove ball bearing measuring 12 × 28 × 8 mm. It is suitable for a wide range of compact rotating arrangements requiring reliable operation, low friction and support for predominantly radial loads.

Features and applications

single-row design with deep raceway grooves,
supports radial loads and moderate axial loads in both directions,
low friction and a simple, proven construction,
suitable for electric motors, fans, gear units, pumps, tools and other compact mechanisms.

Open design and installation

The designation 6001 without a sealing suffix indicates an open design. Protect the bearing from contamination and provide lubrication suited to the operating conditions. Install in a clean environment and apply force only to the ring with the interference fit, never through the balls.

Replacement check: compare the complete code 6001 ZKL, dimensions and required sealing arrangement with the original component. Versions such as 6001 2RS or 6001 2Z use different seals or shields and are not automatically identical replacements.
