6003 C3 ZKL single-row deep-groove ball bearing
The 6003 C3 bearing from ZKL has deep raceways and is designed primarily for radial loads. It can also support limited axial loads in both directions.

What C3 clearance means
- radial internal clearance is greater than normal,
- it can compensate for clearance reduction caused by tight fits, higher temperature or other demanding operating conditions,
- C3 is not a quality grade and is not automatically preferable to a normal-clearance bearing,
- select the correct clearance fits, temperature, speed and the machine manufacturer requirements.
Open design and mounting
The bearing has no seals or shields, so the machine design must provide suitable lubrication and protection from contamination. Apply mounting force only through the ring with the interference fit, never through the balls. Before substitution, check the complete 6003 C3 designation, because a standard 6003 with normal clearance may not be interchangeable under the same conditions.
