ZKL 628 2Z – double-shielded deep-groove ball bearing
The ZKL 628 2Z is a single-row deep-groove ball bearing designed primarily for radial loads while also accommodating limited axial loads in both directions.
Non-contact metal shields on both sides help retain lubricant and protect the raceways from ordinary particles while producing little additional friction. They do not provide a liquid-tight seal, so a sealed version may be more appropriate in wet or heavily contaminated environments.

Applications and mounting
This version suits small electric motors, rollers, instruments, tools and other compact mechanisms when load, speed and environment are appropriate. During mounting, apply force only to the ring with the interference fit; never transmit mounting force through the balls or deform the shields.
