NU 2208 E ZVL single-row cylindrical roller bearing
The NU 2208 E bearing from ZVL uses cylindrical rollers with a large contact area, making it suitable for high radial loads and higher-speed operation. It is not designed to locate the shaft axially.

NU design and E suffix
- the outer ring has two integral guide flanges, while the inner ring has no flanges,
- the rings can move axially relative to each other in both directions, allowing the bearing to accommodate thermal expansion of the shaft,
- the separable design simplifies independent mounting of the inner ring and the outer-ring/roller assembly,
- the E suffix denotes an optimized internal design with increased radial load capacity; verify exact operating values in the manufacturer data.
Mounting and lubrication
This is an open bearing and requires suitable lubrication and protection from contamination. Apply mounting force only through the ring with the interference fit and maintain accurate alignment. A different suitable component or bearing must provide axial location of the shaft.
