Bearing - SS 6203 2RS neu

SS 6203 2RS neu is a single-row stainless-steel deep-groove ball bearing with dimensions of 17 × 40 × 12 mm. The 2RS execution has contact rubber seals on both sides, while the SS prefix denotes a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel design.

Key features

Material: stainless steel offers better resistance to moisture and mildly corrosive environments than standard bearing steel, but is not immune to every chemical.
Design: non-separable single-row bearing for radial loads and moderate axial loads in both directions.
2RS seals: contact seals on both sides provide more effective protection than shields, with correspondingly higher friction.
Lubrication: the sealed bearing is factory-filled with grease and is normally not relubricated in standard service.
Dimensions: 17 mm bore, 40 mm outside diameter and 12 mm width.

Installation and use

Apply fitting force only through the ring with the interference fit and never through the balls. Do not damage the seals or wash the bearing, so the factory lubricant and protective function remain intact.
