Vibration motors
Vibration motors are electrical devices designed to generate controlled mechanical vibrations using eccentric weights or similar displacement elements.
In industrial environments they are used where vibrations are required for material handling, separation or compaction. The motor's design and protection are selected with regard to operating conditions and the required vibration regime.
The basic technical characteristics include power, frequency and amplitude of the vibrations, the method of mounting and the enclosure rating. The choice of a suitable design depends on compatibility with existing machinery and on operational requirements.
