Pads
Washers distribute the force of the bolted joint, protect the bearing surface and can help limit clearance. In practice, they are used under nuts, bolts, studs and in assembly assemblies.
When choosing, the inner diameter, outer diameter, thickness, material and purpose are decisive. Another pad is used for normal seating, another for springing, defining or securing the connection.
- verify the diameter of the bolt or stud
- measure the outer diameter and thickness of the washer
- distinguish between flat, flexible, conical and spacer designs
- consider the material, surface and joint load

If you are replacing a special pad, please send its dimensions and a photo from the side. The thickness or shape is often more important than the inner opening itself.
