Tapered bushings (Taper Lock)
Taper Lock taper bushings allow pulleys, wheels or hubs to be firmly attached to the shaft without complex machining. The correct bushing must fit the shaft diameter as well as the tapered hub of the part.
When choosing, the type designation of the case, the diameter of the hole, the size of the cone and the groove for the pen decide. Similar diameters are not interchangeable unless the series of housings match.
